Hey guys, I recently (I say recently but it was like a month and a half ago) had to replace my harddrive in my computer, starting over from scratch. I'm now running jaws 15 and everything is working fantasticly!!!! Accept for one thing: I've installed flash player (I'm 99% sure at least) but every time I go to youtube the flash screen isn't there anymore; no play/pause button; no mute or time slider (that never works anyways); no sort of any video controls at all! Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get them back? it'd be really nice to actually be able to pause videos again...
thanks,
Dan.
Dan, i'd suggest you go and see if flash is installed. if not then go and get it.
if it is installed u uninstall it redownload it and put it back on your system again.
Hmmm, I still have teh same everything and no longer have any of the controls either. Not sure if the pic is playing or not since I can't tell.
But I made no changes to cause this.
Suggestions for me?
Thanks.
The suggestion I gave a above I is the only one that I can think of. Perhaps check for spyware, I have no idea if anything like co that could disable flash?
I'm having the same problem, only I've noticed that sometimes the player controls are there and sometimes they're not. I'm running Windows 7 and JAWS 15 on my computer, but I've seen this happen on other computers as well. Is there any way to fix this once and for all? I want to listen to a seven-hour audiobook on YouTube, so I kinda need my controls! lol
